The potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to transform healthcare is generating tremendous excitement, but also some apprehension. 

AI comprises algorithms that can emulate human reasoning and decision-making. By analyzing vast datasets, AI can uncover novel insights to enhance diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. However, thoughtfully integrating AI into clinical practice is essential.

Physicians want improved patient outcomes, not disruptive technologies. We must ensure AI enhances, not replaces, the doctor-patient relationship. AI should allow clinicians to focus less on administrative tasks, and more on connecting with patients.
